The Chronicles
of Robert de Brus, King of Scots
This
book (the first of a four part series) is written by the very
descendants of This King of Scotland. They capture the very essence
of the times and trials of their Heroic family member. History
is not always an enjoyable read. It is most often dry as an old
set of bones, but these authors have made the characters of this
important time in the history of the concept of the freedom of
the people real and believable. They put flesh on the bones and
blood in the veins of history. Illustrated with Maps, and thirty
six grand sketches that put a face to each of the characters.
